George joined Elder’s in November of 2024 and has been our HallsStore Manager since September of 2025. George has worked at our South Knoxville, Florence, and Halls stores. His favorite department is outdoor power equipment because these products are used by both DIY and pro customers and he enjoys our large offering of both gas and battery-operated equipment.  George’s favorite thing about working atElder’s is the focus on the customer and the value of building customer relationships. He appreciates that he doesn’t feel sales driven pressure like he has in his previous jobs. On his days off, George enjoys spending time with his four dachshunds and his wife, Kaylynn, as well as going antiquing occasionally. He also enjoys taking trips to Disney! Fun fact- George grew up in Las Vegas and was a valet with MGM Resorts which turned into a 20-year career before moving down south!
